"It was round about eighteen thousand measures; and the name of the city from that day shall be,

Jesus died for you. There it is. Believe it and receive it; because it is the truth. Jesus died for you; that is how much he loves you.

"In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." -Genesis 1.1-1.3

​

And God made man and woman in His image and they were to have dominion over all the earth; they were to eat of every herb bearing seed and the earth was for them and they were to tend to the garden and walk with God. They were given instruction from God:

​

"Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in that day thou shalt surely die. "Genesis 2.17

​

But in the garden they were met with temptation; and a serpent more cunning than any in the garden who twisted Gods' words and beguiled Eve to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Adam and Eve partook despite Gods warnings and from this moment- their flesh was fallen.

​

Romans 3.23 tells us "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Our fleshly inheritance is a fallen nature through our bloodline all the way back to Adam and Eve. When the two partook of the knowledge of good and evil they opened the door to the works of darkness; wherefore when they first walked with God they know not sin or shame; suddenly they hid their bodies and made themselves coverings; suddenly they were scared and suddenly they were disconnected from their creator. This was never Gods intention for us. God had always intended to dwell with us. God always intended to dwell with you. 

 

Romans 6.23 tells us "the wages of sin is death." We know, that might seem "heavy," and that might seem "scary," but here is the wonderful news;

 

Despite all of this, "God so loved the world that He gave His one begotten Son, that all that would believe would never perish but have eternal life." and so the wages of sin is death, but "the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."  

​

Colossians 2.13 tells us "when you were dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins."

​

Jesus, on the cross, completely innocent; fully God and fully man, was humiliated, shamed, beaten and killed. But even on the cross he still called out to the Father and said "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they are doing." -Luke 23.34

​

He asked the Father to forgive us. He took on our shame and sin on the cross so we could have eternal life. With his last breath he sighed "It is finished." He fulfilled every prophecy. He paid every debt that we owed. And he rose again three days later and before he ascended to the highest parts of heaven to be seated at the right hand of the Father, "descended first to the lowest parts of the earth." -Ephesians 4.9

 

 "When he ascended to the heights he led a crowd of captives and gave gifts to his people." -Ephesians 4.8 He led captivity captive and gave us access to freedom again by his body broken on the cross for us and by his blood that was poured out for us "for the remission of our sins." -Matthew 26.28

​

His will for us is that we know Him again. He is calling us to Him. God, the creator of the heaven and the earth, is calling us home and into relationship with him, but how do we know him? How do we build relationship?

​

2 Chronicles 7.14 tells us "if my servants, which are called by my name shall humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land." This is a promise from the most High God. God never breaks a promise. 

​

Romans 10.9 tells us "that if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved." It is finished.

​

Jesus, King of the Jews, who grafted every individual into eternal life by His body and blood is still alive today and is waiting for your yes. We believe if you have read this far and your heart is perhaps beating or you feel a stirring in your spirit, it is the Holy Spirit whom Jesus sent to us as a helper so we would come to the full knowledge of Him. This is the same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead; The same Holy Spirit that wants a relationship with you. So- if you feel so led I want to encourage you to, from the comfort of the comforter, wherever you are now say this prayer of salvation out loud.

"Lord, I don't know you, but I want to. Jesus, I believe you died on the cross for me and I believe that you rose from the dead for me just for the chance that I would come to know you. Lord, I repent of my sins, I repent for not putting you first in my life. I confess that Jesus is alive and active and I accept Him into my life. I welcome the Holy Spirit to lead me into greater measure of truth. I believe it, I receive it. From this day forward I belong to Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ belongs to me. In Jesus' name, I pray."

"For it is by grace you have been saved- through faith" -Ephesians 2.8

Welcome to the Kingdom. The Lord is there.
